Cape Town & Table Mountain
We first visit Signal Hill, which provides a 360 degree view of Lion’s Head, the city, Table Bay and Table Mountain. From this vantage point we will drive down to Camps Bay & Clifton, the play ground of the rich & famous! Then along the Atlantic seaboard to the Waterfront (Cape Town’s dockland development) and a slow drive through the City, past the old Company Gardens, Parliament, The Slave Lodge, and St Georges Cathedral. After lunch we will take the cable car to the top of our famous Table Mountain and walk across to Maclears Beacon (the highest point). This is a two hour walk mostly on level paths with one short scramble! (weather permitting).
