Our first port of call is Hout Bay, where we join a 45 minute boat trip to see the Seals on Duiker Island. Cape Fur Seals are in abundance, as well as Terns, Gulls and Cormorants. We will then visit the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, where staff cultivate approximately 4,000 of South Africa’s indigenous plants, in a setting of forests, mountain streams, pools and rolling lawns. A walk in these beautiful gardens with its dramatic mountain backdrop, is not to be missed. We will spend the afternoon at Rondevlei Nature Reserve, one of Cape Town’s premier bird reserves. Rondevlei has five bird hides, as well as two observation towers.
Included: Long wheel-base VW Microbus TDI with Guide.
